About me

Hi, my name is Carey.

I started my own small businesses just after my daughter was born in 2019. My intent for my businesses was to foster my creativity and passion within motherhood and a hectic family life.
My first company; The Blue House on the Corner
enables me to create and offer a vast range of handmade products. From candles to plant shelves, from diffusers to pop sockets, all with amazing bohemian vibes.

I started Little Shop Talk with the passion to help small businesses as well as local school systems, PAC members, and students. Being a parent, I noticed how hard the PAC worked to fundraise and create support for our local students. I strived to find a simple way to help small businesses gain local customers, and in turn help the school systems gain access to funds.

I have a love and a passion for supporting small businesses. Whether that is with a simple follow and comment on their social media, a purchase from their shop, sharing their products and services, or possibly giving some knowledge and advice I may have that may benefit. Little Shop Talk was my answer to creating awareness to local small businesses, and at the same time generating educational funding for our community’s children.
